Season's Greeting Card

All set for the festive season, I chose to create a card based on Xmas cum New Year theme.

I used a sheet of amber hand-made paper and then with the help of a scallop scissors I shaped the card.
To highlight the decorative edge of the card, I used Hobby Ideas 3D Fevicryl glitter tubes of gold and purple to give a special effect.

I am really crazy about using sequins, and none of my artwork seems to be completed without them. So I chose some sequins of varied shapes to create stars and hanging lanterns.

Then for adding the text, I used Pie Lane purple-colored Glitter balls. I must say, the glitter balls give a lovely touch to the letters and I would suggest everyone to try them. Also it was used to create strings for hanging lanterns.

I would like to enter this card for the Pie Lane Glitter Challenge and ICRC13 Challenge.

Not too jazzy but a simple sweet card for conveying my sincere wishes to one and all!
Here's wishing you all and you families a very Merry Xmas and a Bright, Happy & Prosperous New Year 2012! :)
